Satan Live! combines devilish comedy with smooth melodies. Ben Asaykwee is always engaging and fun to watch...this is no exception. Satan twists the ole perception by swooning his audience with his ideas about those 'seven deadly suggestions.' Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
Who is Ben Asaykwee and how come I've not sat on HIS face yet. This show was sexy, and just right for the ultimate seducer, sometimes cheesy in bits but in that lounge singer way that I think is probably on purpose. And the singing belongs on a cd in my car like now.
what a great show! This is the best vocalist I have heard in years and in a show that is so funny it's sinful. I was in the house last night (at 6pm) and people were having such a good time if felt like Saturday night! My wife and I are highly recommending it to everyone we see.
Okay, so we're about halfway through Indy Fringe, I’ve seen 9 shows and have been keeping a top three. One of the three I’m in (hint: it has a lot to do with Bowling) so really it’s a top two. It’s been pretty much the same two shows since the first day, until last night. I saw this show and it just burned its way up the list. Ben Asaykwee is SOOOO talented; his voice is like butter, and his show is - sinister - sinful - and simply scrumptious. Don't miss this show. You'll be sorry you did. ^.^
Ben Asaykwee's vocal abilities make me wonder if he sold his soul to the devil for all the talent he possesses. For reals, He's just that good. I loved seeing Satan in a different light too, that of a smooth talkin, witty, laid back soul. Only 2 more performances left!
at least 4 jaw dropping moments! this show floored me. I've seen a lot of one person shows, but few that I could see being performed on a broadway stage. With some slight direction changes, this show could have the kind of legs most only dream about. I don't know who wrote it, but mr. asaykwee performed the hell out of it.
Satan was on fire! Great jazzy tunes interspersed with comedic banter.
ReplyDeletewe loved this show! we will see it again this week hopefully.
