Zan is a great stand-up comedienne, with sharp timing and infectious energy, but this show has a lot more going on than jokes. Overcoming obstacles involving career, family, love, and loss are themes throughout that allow us to connect with this performer on a personal level, and even learn a lesson or two about our own lives while laughing...loudly...along the way. Recommended!
I loved that she had a local comedienne open for her, and heard she has a different opener for each show. Very Fringy of her to support other artists, even while doing her own show (which was super funny and great!). =]
I loved Zan! She was very easy to love, and she left me feeling like I'd want to get to know her better. Her comedy was humorous, but also a bit pointed at times. She did not flinch from baring her soul to the audience. I would definitely encourage anyone interested in good comedy, with a sharp edge, to check out this show!
