A sold-out show sunday gave "Headscarf" a standing ovation. A risky subject to put out there, 'Zed' isn't trying to make anyone like Islam. As a wholly American daughter of Muslim Pakistani parents, she succeeds in humorously conveying the "say what?!" aspects of the religion. Well worth your time.
Definitely a must see, her humor is very effective in showing us how muslims are treated, but the serious side of her relationship with her father is also humor......worth the trip to see her show. I hear she has played in L.A., Washington D.C. and other Fringe sites Extremely good music and fun with a little education on the side.
