  1. I saw this show with a fairly sparse crowd, but you'd have thought the actors were performing to a sold out house from their energy and focus. From silly to poignant, the physicality of these two performers was so amazing to watch. I highly recommend seeing this show.

  2. These two were amazing. The acting was impeccable. This absurdest show is absolutely worth seeing, if nothing else, to observe these performers' technique.

  3. This show is NOT to be missed by anyone who takes Fringe as seriously as they should. The performances are spot on and the production in all is fantastic. Brilliantly acted and nuanced performance by two fantastic entertainers.

  4. Two extremely talented actors. So intense that I didn't even realize that the male characters facial hair was falling off until it completely unhinged itself. I know that may sound a little silly, but I was completely engrossed in the performances of each actor. I love the idea of this show and the images are still fresh in my mind as I continue to think about it. Don't miss this deep, dark, textured show.

  5. Subtle sweetness and broad buffoonery made this production of the Ionesco classis a winner! While absurdism may not be for everyone...(it can seem a little disconnected or slow paced)...these two performers did a masterful job with challenging material. And the array of interesting chairs was magnificent!

  7. Simply beautiful! From the acting to the direction to the ridiculousness of all the chairs. This show takes you on a ride through the silliness of human behavior brought on by desperation. It is, by far, one of the best shows that I've seen in a long time!

  8. The Chairs is a show that needs to be seen by everyone who attends Fringe. Especially if you're a performer. I was trying to soak in as much as I could from what the cast was putting out the onstage. This show is a great example of what great theater and Fringe is all about. The commitment onstage from these 2 actors blew me away. Amazing acting!
